When you come across a difficult problem, how do you go about solving it? Hope you'll get lucky? Ask for help? Or do you do something about it by yourself?
Made up of visual artists, designers, writers, film art directors and musicians, the members of the Superb Meaningless Invention Group may hail from different walks of life, but they share the same vision: refusing to assess the value of their concepts from an economic viewpoint, they devote their hearts and minds to the painstaking design and creation of inventions that will solve small day-to-day problems and fulfil a spiritual need. They choose to make use of their capacity to invent as a way of demonstrating their creativity and pursuing an ideal life. In this exhibition, they bring to us what they call superb meaningless inventions in the hope of stimulating the creative power within our minds. Only those who persist, who stay true to their ideas and who take action can turn blue-sky ideas into reality!
當你在日常生活中經常碰上問題，你會怎樣去解決？等運到？找人幫忙？還是自己動手？ 無啦謂勁架勢發明隊的成員包括視覺藝術家、設計師、作家、電影美術指導及音樂家等。他們雖然來自不同的界別，卻擁有共同的理念。他們不從經濟角度去衡量自己的發明，費盡心思、親自動手，為生活中遇到林林種種的「小問題」及心靈需要去發明、製作各式各樣的作品。他們選擇用發明這種方式，去表達各自的創意精神及對理想生活的不懈追求。 是次展覽為我們帶來他們自認為無啦謂勁架勢的發明，希望也能觸動你們潛藏於腦袋中的創意神經。只要堅持忠於自己的想法並付諸行動，就能把天馬行空的創意化成現實中自己的勁架勢發明！ Phase I
