Macao is always my favourite place to getaway even before the casino biz blossomed. With good food, nice view, slow pace and the Portugal architecture, it is one of the place that will make you have an illusion that you are not in any part of Asia.
One reason for that is the tradition of holding art and music festival. Disregarding the crazy gambling tourism, Macao well preserved art life and the government is willing to pull in more money on the content than the advertising. (You know which city i'm talking about on the opposite then)
The curtains will soon rise on the 23rd Macao Arts Festival. Amidst intense fervour and excitement, the Cultural Affairs Bureau would like to welcome all aficionados of arts and culture!
