2012 SEP: Macau Int'l Fireworks Display Contest (Macao)

Bored by shopping and repeated show? Get down to the seashore and participate in the Macau Int'l Fireworks Display.  10 teams are coming to the contest and each night will showcase two teams.  THis year we have China, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, England, Switzerland, France, Germany, Portuguese & Spain. 

由澳門特別行政區政府旅遊局主辦的「澳門國際煙花比賽匯演」始於一九八九年，當時只有五支隊伍參賽。直至一九九五年，煙花匯演向前跨進一步，由原來的五支參賽隊伍增加到十支，每晚由兩支不同隊伍表演。

至今已有百多間來自中國、菲律賓、泰國、中國台灣、日本、韓國、澳洲、英國、瑞士、法國、德國、葡萄牙及西班牙等國家及地區的高水準煙火公司曾經參加「澳門國際煙花比賽匯演」。

2012 June: Taiwan Balloon Festival 台灣熱氣球嘉年華

Not much information about this festival is written in English.  This event is the 2nd year, organized by Taitung government.  You can take the train from Taitung to  Luye鹿野, where the festival is held.

邀請美國、加拿大、瑞士、法國、英國、紐西蘭、澳洲、立陶宛、西班牙、泰國、印度等國家的熱氣球飛行員進行熱氣球飛行表演。表演時間為6月30日至9月2日每日清晨5:30～6:00、下午4:00～6:30，須視當天天候狀況調整時間。

2012 April: Cherry Blossom Marathon 櫻花馬拉松(Korea 韓國

The only Cherry Blossom (Sakura) Marathon in Korea, happened in the man-made lake PoMun Lake in Gyeong-ju, the ancient capital of Shilla Kingdom.  The trail is 42 km and it takes around 3 hours to complete.  Racers can complete in the morning and tour the city, with 2 UNESCO heritages nearby.  Some nice Hanu (Korean beef) BBQ restaurants around for a great eat out day.

韓國唯一櫻花馬拉松於慶州普門湖舉行。賽道只有42公里，選手可於早上完成賽事而在下午前往慶州各個旅遊景點。慶州是新羅王朝的首都，區內古色古香，並有兩處UNESCO世遺遺址。
